Your initial visit is designed to give Dr. Anton Andrews a clear understanding of your current oral health, your primary concerns and your treatment goals. The evaluation is adapted to the reason for your visit rather than following the same sequence for every patient.

Comprehensive Examination
Dr. Andrews performs a clinical examination appropriate to your needs, evaluating the teeth, restorations, gums, bite and other relevant structures.

Necessary X-Rays & Diagnostics
Appropriate dental X-rays are obtained when needed. More advanced imaging, digital scanning or additional diagnostic procedures may be recommended when they are clinically indicated.

Review Findings & Next Steps
We review the findings with you, discuss appropriate treatment options and determine the next step based on your diagnosis, priorities and individual circumstances.

Is DENTOLOGY accepting new patients?
Yes. DENTOLOGY welcomes new patients at both our Boston Seaport and Woburn, Massachusetts locations.
What is included in a new-patient consultation?
The consultation includes a comprehensive dental examination and necessary X-rays. Additional diagnostic procedures may be recommended depending on the reason for your visit and the clinical findings.
Is a dental cleaning included with the consultation?
No. The initial consultation is an examination and diagnostic visit. A hygiene cleaning can be scheduled separately when appropriate based on your periodontal and dental evaluation.
Do you accept dental insurance?
DENTOLOGY works with many PPO dental insurance plans. Benefits vary by individual policy, so actual coverage and reimbursement are determined by your insurance carrier.
Can I become a new patient if I have a dental emergency?
Yes. New patients experiencing tooth pain, swelling, a broken tooth or another urgent problem can review our dental emergency information and contact DENTOLOGY for evaluation.
What if I am coming specifically for TMJ or dental implants?
You can request a consultation specifically for TMJ/TMD, dental implants, biomimetic dentistry, cosmetic treatment or another concern. Our consultation system will collect the reason for your visit and your preferred location.
