MINIMALLY INVASIVE DENTAL BONE GRAFTING

Advanced surgical training and extensive experience in all fields of Dental Implantology, including Bone Grafting, Sinus Lifts and Multiple Dental Implants placements allow Dr. Andrews to complete a surgical phase in one visit in 85% of all cases. Cutting edge surgical protocol – use of Platelet Rich Fibrin, or PRF, dramatically reduces post-operative discomfort, shortens healing time, accelerates integration of implants and grafts and decreases the likelihood of most complications.

BONE GRAFTING

Sometimes, Dr. Andrews will need to increase the amount of bone in a patient’s jaw. Recent developments in bone grafting techniques have made implant treatment possible in cases that would have been impossible just a few years ago.
In the most common type of bone grafting, the jaw may already have enough bone to place the implant, but not enough bone to completely cover the sides of the implant. In such case Dr. Andrews combines bone graft with an implant placement.
The second  type of bone grafting is always done as a separate surgery from the implant placement.  This type of graft is intended to make large changes to the shape and size of the dental ridge so that a stable implant can be placed, usually 4-6 months later. These procedures are performed by Dr. Andrews on a regular basis .
